Wichita Falls Chamber of Commerce Annual Celebration
On Thursday, February 6th, 2020, the Wichita Falls Chamber held its Annual Celebration at The Warehouse.
Each year, the Chamber recognizes and celebrates the outstanding contributions of members, leadership, and ambassadors from the previous year that have gone above and beyond to ensure the mission of the Chamber is executed.
Awards were given for the following:

• Chamber Champion – Dusty Sternadel, NSPIRE
• Young Professional of the Year – Nick Schreiber, SLA Architects
• New Member of the Year – DuPlooy Trucking
• Small Business of the Year – B Cocoa Artisan Chocolates
The Chamber was honored to present the awards to these outstanding community members and businesses.
White Realty Management Company was chosen because they have been instrumental in helping the Chamber find a new location. Their commitment to excellence is evident in every aspect of their company.
NSPIRE’s Dusty Sternadel earned Chamber Champion due to her continued involvement in helping the Chamber team strengthen their goals and focus their intentions. She is also a champion gamechanger for countless members of the business community.
Young Professional of the Year was awarded to Nick Schreiber with SLA Architects. Nick is a key volunteer leader in the Chamber and Community strategies. His dedication is evident in every committee in which he serves.
DuPlooy Trucking won New Member of the Year due to their work with the Chamber and 4a board to bring an estimated 100 employees, consolidate and move their business to Wichita Falls, and joining the Chamber at the Chairman’s Council level. They continue to help us build a better Wichita Falls.
Small Business of the Year recognition went to B Cocoa Artisan Chocolate. This delightful specialty chocolate boutique moved and expanded to their new location in 2019 and has since been very involved in perpetuating the mission of the Chamber. From military spouse tours to other special events held in their location, they’ve been instrumental in our ongoing efforts.
The Chamber’s Chairman Scott Poenitzch also presented an overview of what to expect in 2020.
