BOSS: Business Owners Sharing Solutions is a quarterly professional development seminar

Professional development is learning to earn or maintain professional credentials such as academic degrees to formal coursework, attending conferences, and informal learning opportunities situated in practice. It has been described as intensive and collaborative, ideally incorporating an evaluative stage.

The Wichita Falls Chamber provides BOSS as an educational platform for the business community and promotes professional development.

Topics have included:

• How to be an effective leader
• How to give amazing customer service
• How to deal with difficult people
• How to tell your story
• Networking
• Public Speaking

More about the event:
The first 45 minutes are Q&A led by Henry Florsheim with our panelists
The next half hour you will get a chance to discuss the topic on your own at your table. The panelists will walk around and engage in conversation at the tables.
The remaining 45 minutes is for the attendees to ask the panelists questions, and then for our panelists closing thoughts.

This program has been in place since 2016. Check back on our calendar for the next event planned for December 5, 2019 on How to Keep the Workplace Fun or email our Director of Events now!
