Community Healthcare Center’s ribbon cutting celebration honoring 25 years of exceptional service

Thursday, May 20th, 10:00 – 10:30AM
Community Healthcare Center (CHC) is a product of a 1992 organized community effort to develop a Federally Qualified Health Center for the medically underserved in our north Texas region. As a result, CHC began providing medical care in 1994 to Wichita and the surrounding counties of north central Texas. What started out to be one provider and a handful of employees is now over 40 medical, dental and behavioral health providers and over 200 supporting staff members. Those 240 dedicated CHC team members are now serving over 29,000 patients annually with over 90,000 visits in six different clinical sites, those being Community Healthcare Center, Phyllis Hiraki Dental Clinic, Family Health Center Wichita Falls, Pediatric Associates, Juarez Medical Clinic and Family Health Center at Virginia Parkway in McKinney.
CHC is proud that their patients proclaim them as their “provider of choice” and “patient-centered healthcare home”. Thus they will be opening at least three more clinic sites during the next year. Those three include the Zundy Elementary school-based clinic and the Vernon College college-based clinic in Wichita Falls, and the Women’s Health Center in McKinney. Thanks North Texas for making your Community Healthcare Center a part of this great community’s fiber.
