Receptionist/Admissions Clerk – Experience Required

A Wichita Falls hospital is looking for an experienced receptionist/admissions clerk to join their growing team. Excellent customer service, communication skills, ability to multi-task, and paying great attention to details are essential in this position. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving incoming calls, transferring calls, and taking messages as well as directing visitors and family members to the appropriate area, and assisting intake with insurance verification. All candidates must be able to pass a background check and drug test. The hours are Monday – Friday, from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm with pay up to $15/HR based on experience.

Job Duties:

Answering and directing calls
Greeting visitors and directing them to the appropriate area
Providing general administrative support
Assisting intake with insurance verification
Maintaining a clean and orderly work area
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
At least 2 years of medical office experience required
Minimum of 2 years customer service
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize projects
Strong communication skills; verbal and written
Pleasant and friendly voice and personality
Bilingual preferred
Familiarity with insurance is a plus
