City of Wichita Falls

The City of Wichita Falls is seeking applicants to fill the position of Grant Accountant. The Grant Accountant will be responsible for preparing and submitting billings to sponsoring agencies, preparing external and internal reports, management of accounts receivable collections and account preparation. The position will monitor, review and manage the City’s receipt of federal, state and local funds, and complete all tasks as assigned. The City anticipates that successful execution of this position may require the completion of a bachelor’s degree in accounting, or related field, and at least one year of exposure to federal and state funding for municipalities, either through work experience or through standard classroom education.
