Summary of Essential Functions
  • Responsible for sourcing, recruiting and attracting candidates using a variety of outlets, such as job postings and social media.
  • Assists with employment marketing initiatives, branding campaigns, referral programs and other recruitment programs.
  • Ensures thorough recruitment and screening of prospective employees.
Educational Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
  • Must be highly self-motivated, creative and results orientated.
  • Must possess and demonstrate professional excellence, and superior communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to adapt to change, be highly positive and be able to establish effective working relationships within, and outside of the organization.
  • Requires strong office skills and working knowledge of various social media outlets.
  • Requires good time management skills and attention to detail.
Physical Requirements
  • May be expected to lift over twenty five (25) pounds.
  • Ability to distinguish between numbers and symbols.
  • Hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity with substantial movement of wrist and/or fingers.
  • Walking and climbing to accomplish tasks.
  • Corrected vision and hearing to normal or near normal range.
  • Extended periods of sitting and/or walking depending on specific duties.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Leads the recruitment team and recruitment processes such as interviews, job offers, and on boarding.
  • Use social media, job boards, Internet sourcing, and other technical means to increase applicant pool. Seeks out and recommends creative new ways of sourcing talent.
  • Ensures a thorough recruitment, screening of completed employment application as well as other pertinent documents are received.
  • Interviewing for designated departments for employment within standard days to hire.
  • Coordinates offers of employment and post-offer medical evaluations upon request.
  • Participates in the recruitment and retention strategies and improvements with both Human Resources team and Coordinators/Managers/Directors.
  • Communicates with Coordinators/Managers/Directors on a continual basis regarding status of applicant process and recruitment needs.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of Human Resources policies, procedures, practices, laws and regulations; and improves upon that level of knowledge.
  • Develops and maintains good working relationships with other departments, employees, and outside agencies for the effective operation of the HR function.  Maintains a liaison relationship with departmental managers and assists them with HR issues as needed.
  • Focuses on the motivation and the needs of the candidates to find the best long term fit for the organization.
  • Participate in employment events, such as career fairs.
  • Participate in community events to network with community leaders and establish key relationships within the community.
  • Developing creative recruitment solutions to find and attract desirable candidates for critical need positions.
  • Communicates with Coordinators/Managers/Directors on a continual basis regarding status of applicant process and recruitment needs.
  • Analysis data to measure the effectiveness of the recruitment function and proactively address trends.
  • Exhibit strong leadership skills by setting the appropriate example for others to follow, delegating appropriately and developing staff members.
  • Increase job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications, maintaining professional networks; participating in professional organizations.
  • Performs all other tasks/responsibilities as necessary
