Accounts Payable/ Payroll Clerk

Spherion is hiring an experienced Accounts Payable/ Payroll Clerk for a company in Iowa Park! Working hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Responsibilities:
Managing general ledger journal entries and credit card and bank account reconciliation.
Preparing accounts payable invoices.
Handling payments in an organized and timely manner.
Preparing and maintaining Excel spreadsheets.
Performing internal credit card reconciliation when required.
Preparing sales and use tax returns.
Ensuring imaging of invoice supporting documents is timely and accurately performed.
Assisting with audit support as necessary.
Assisting in streamlining the accounts payable process.
Working with an account receivable clerk and others to resolve account issues when necessary.
Handling expense reports.

Skills:
Advanced abilities with Excel

Qualifications:
Must have at least 1 year QuickBooks experience
Must have at least 1 year Accounts Payable experience
Must have at least 1 year payroll experience
Must be able to pass drug screen and background check
